Community empowerment
Community Empowerment and Mobilization is GOSHEM’s support program to grassroots communities in Uganda. Through this program, GOSHEM works directly with grassroots local communities implementing sustainable community programs and projects. We bring both human and non-human resources together to undertake sustainable community-based development activities. The objective is to build the grassroots communities’ capacity to gain control over the factors and decisions that shape their lives.

Girl Child Empowerment
We believe that every girl, woman, and child deserves a life of dignity with equal access to safety, education, and economic prosperity. The Girls’ Empowerment Project provides education and life skills through accelerated school courses that equip the girls with basic education and life skills for a bright future.
wIDOWS AND eLDERLY

Men's Empowerment
For the past decades, there have been tremendous women’s movements in Uganda and other parts of the world advocating for gender equality. This agenda has been driven by governments from different corners of the world, and non-governmental organizations both local and international.
Women's Empowerment
The Young Women’s Economic Empowerment Program created economic opportunities for young women between the ages of 18 and 32 to become economically self-sufficient. The women in this program were able to build confidence and learn useful vocational skills.
